Job Overview 

Gran View is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Bartender to join our hospitality team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests dining in our restaurant, attending events, or visiting our bar area. This position plays an important role in delivering a positive guest experience by maintaining a high level of service, product knowledge, and professionalism while ensuring compliance with all applicable alcohol service regulations.

Job Type: Per Diem 

Expected Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 4:00pm – 9:00pm 

Shift: Evening and Weekends 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences.  
  • Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests.  
  • Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all applicable alcohol service laws and regulations.  
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, beer, wine, spirits, and specialty beverages.  
  • Accurately process guest orders and payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.  
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to questions or concerns.  
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.  
  • Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and supplies as needed.  
  • Assist with beverage service during banquets, weddings, and special events.  
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.  
  • Work collaboratively with restaurant, kitchen, and event staff to ensure a positive guest experience.  

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Previous bartending experience preferred.  
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and beverage preparation techniques preferred.  
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.  
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.  
  • Ability to handle cash, process payments, and operate a POS system.  
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.  
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.  
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.  
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds 

Pay: $10.35 per hour, plus tips
